| Ancient Warfare Newsletter June 2008 |
Dear [NAME], This email has been sent to [EMAIL]. If it was not meant for you, please refer to the unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of this newsletter. Issue II-3&4 Issue II-3 has reached European subscribers by now and is on its way to the rest of the world. In the meantime we're working flat out on issue II-4 which has the Campaigns of Julius Caesar at its core. It will have, among others, articles on the equipment of Caesarian soldiers, siege warfare and the Battle of Ruspina. Podcast 3 While II.3 went into distribution, we recorded the third Ancient Warfare podcast, to coincide with the theme of that issue. It is now online and can be downloaded from iTunes (search for Ancient Warfare or find us in the History subsection), from Feedburner or from http://www.thehistorynetwork.org Hope you like it! If you do (or don't or just have some comments or questions), please let us know! Ancient Warfare PDFs The section on Ancient-Warfare.com containing selected PDFs of past issues was very much in need of an update. This week we added the theme intro, cover, contents page, 'On the Cover' and the Review section for every issue up to II.3 for your perusal and download. You can find the PDF section in the 'For Readers' page on www.ancient-warfare.com. Trial Subscriptions Would you like to try Ancient Warfare for six months? Well, now you can! This month we introduced Trial Subscriptions: they last six months (or three issues), end automatically (but we'll remind you to renew, of course) and cost only â¬10,99. That is hands down the cheapest way to get three copies of Ancient Warfare delivered to your door. Issues I.2 and 3 Stocks of our second and third regular issue ('Daily life' and 'Protect Thyself') are now very low. If you want to complete your collection, you'll have to be fast! |
